TV Slim

Privacy

No account, no telemetry, no cookies. Here is exactly who the app and this site talk to.

TV Slim for Windows

TV Slim talks to your television over your local network, and to GitHub to look for updates — and, the first time you open the mirror without scrcpy installed, to download it from its GitHub release, once you have agreed and after checking its fingerprint. Nothing else. The ADB key that lets this computer talk to your TVs is stored encrypted by Windows (DPAPI) in %APPDATA%\TVSlim, next to the logs.

TV Slim Remote, on the phone

It talks to your television, and to nothing else; its ADB key is encrypted by the Android keystore. The QR code scanner is Google’s, from Google Play services.

Support

The app never contacts Ko-fi itself: the button opens your browser.

This site

tvslim.app sets no cookies, measures no audience and loads nothing from a third-party service: fonts and images are served by the site itself. Like any host, Infomaniak, in Switzerland, keeps the usual technical logs of its server. The download buttons lead to GitHub.
